It was a short trip. We left home about noon. It took about six hours to get there. The sky was bright with white clouds. The clouds today looked very low in the sky which made me thought about drawing. We checked in the room and walked to the restaurant next door. Its name reminded me to Cracker Barrel but did not have buckets of nuts here. We rest in the room get ready for tomorrow.
It was 8 am. We headed to the Kinzua Bridge State Park where was only ten minutes from the hotel. We decided to have breakfast there but only one food cart which did not open yet when we were there. We enjoyed walking on the bridge, ” Sky Walk”, and hiking on a short trail. We spent about two hours here then we left. We stopped and having brunch in town before hit the road.
The 2nd stop was Hickory Run State Park, about three hours from Kinzua Bridge, two hours to home. It was 3pm. when we got there then we did short hiking and visited boulder feild.
I would like to hike at the water fall trail but we did not have much time today. However, it was a water fall from the pond and also several tiny falls from the creek along the trail. Overall, I was happy with this trip.
